This blog is a place where we can write out our reactions to books we read so we can reflect on our practice as consultants. It will also give us the opportunity to challenge each other with new research and different points of view on pedagogy, classroom strategies, and cognitive development. The best way to do this would be if we each posted our reactions to a particular book and then commented on each other's posts. In this respect we will form a smaller, online version of the IDE book club so that we can catch ourselves up to the reading experiences of more seasoned consultants.
To start things off, we have a book, "Problems as Possibilities," that we were given as part of our training materials. Perhaps this would be a good book to start our commentary? Of course, alternative suggestions are encouraged.
